Based around a beauty pageant, the musical is written by Bill Russell and Frank Kelly, with music by Albert Evans and concept by Robert Longbottom. The production is directed by Matt Lenz, with choreography by Shea Sullivan and music direction by Mark Hartman.
The cast features John Bolton, Nick Cearley, Alex Ringler, Marty Thomas, Seth Tucker, Curtis Wiley, and Nic Cory. The musical played a sold-out run earlier this year at the Red Lacquer Club at Lucky Cheng's as a benefit for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
The show's design includes costumes by Stephen Yearick, scenic design by Paul DePoo, lighting by Paul Miller, and sound by David Sanderson.
